Training and Credentials

Dr. Dickinson received his Ivy-League undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Brown University. At Brown, Dr. Dickinson was inducted into the Sigma Xi science honor society and won the Merck Award for organic chemistry. He was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. At Mount Sinai he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and graduated with the highest overall academic performance. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Dickinson was selected into the highly-competitive combined general surgery and plastic surgery training program at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Dickinson has additional training in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and facial reconstruction. Dr. Dickinson's academic training and accomplishments provide him with the ability to perform all types of plastic and reconstructive surgery with special emphasis on cosmetic surgery of the face and breast and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast. Dr. Dickinson’s extensive plastic surgery training, talent, and academic accomplishments allow him to fulfill the reconstructive and cosmetic needs of his patients.

The UCLA Medical Center has been consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Reports as the number three hospital in the nation and “Best in the West” for 19 consecutive years. The UCLA plastic surgery training program has been known as an outstanding training program in all aspects of craniofacial, microvascular, hand, and aesthetic surgery. While at UCLA Dr. Dickinson received the UCLA Plastic Surgery Division Research Award and scored in the 98th percentile on the plastic surgery in-service examination two years in a row.

Dr. Dickinson was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
